Gridley Christian Chruch was established in Gridley at The First Christian Church of Gridley in 1881.

We are a non-denominational church, committed to basic Christianity as it is expressed in the Bible. We are committed to basic Christian unity among all who profess Jesus Christ as Lord. We receive the Bible as God’s Word, and it is our final authority and only rule for faith and living. We want to live our lives as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, leading others to trust in Him.

Our members accept Jesus Christ as the Living Son of God, Savior and Lord .

We are a free church with Christ as our leader. We are not ruled by any denominational authority, but seek to live under the direction of God’s Holy Spirit. We appoint Elders, Servant Leaders, and others to help lead us toward Christ. We determine our own policies, voluntarily cooperating with other Christians in fulfilling our Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples of all people.

We share in the communion of the Lord’s Supper each week, as was the custom of the early church.

We provide Biblically based messages and life application.

We believe all persons of all races to be created in the image of God and need the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
